Jeremy Woodard Joins Cardinal Group as Senior Vice President, Head of Multifamily Investments

DENVER, CO – July 15, 2022 – Cardinal Group Companies (CGC), an industry leader in conventional, student, and affordable housing investment, development, and management, announces hiring Jeremy Woodard as Senior Vice President, Head of Multifamily Investments. Jeremy will lead Cardinal’s conventional multifamily investment strategy, including sourcing, negotiating, and structuring new acquisitions. Jeremy will be based in New York City while covering markets nationwide.

Jeremy joins Cardinal Group with over 12 years of sourcing, underwriting, acquisition, and investment experience in residential and commercial real estate. Cardinal has primarily invested in student housing ventures, and Jeremy joins Cardinal to assist in growing the multifamily investment portfolio. In addition, Jeremy will develop the conventional multifamily investment thesis and lead negotiations with potential investors.

Most recently, Jeremy served as Vice President of Real Estate Private Credit with Cerberus Capital Management and as Vice President in Goldman Sachs Real Estate Investment Banking Group. Jeremy began his career as an Acquisition Associate at Zeller Realty Group, a vertically integrated real estate owner-operator. He earned his MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and his Bachelor’s degree from Florida A&M University.
