Cardinal Group Management Wins Pandemic Hero Award at Multi-Housing News Excellence Awards Program
Cardinal Group Management (CGM) was awarded the Pandemic Hero Award during the 2021 Multi-Housing News Excellence Awards program during the MHN Summit 2021. CGM took home the Excellence Award for the Cardinal Heroes Campaign during the COVID-19 pandemic.
At the onset of the COVID pandemic, the multifamily management industry was identified as an essential business. Like many companies in the industry, Cardinal’s onsite team members were required to continue to support its residents while dealing with the uncertainty of the risks of COVID-19.
The goal to empower team members to tell Cardinal’s story during COIVD resulted in the creation of the Cardinal Heroes campaign. The campaign enabled team members to nominate any Cardinal employee and internally called team members to showcase their dedication to the residents and each other. The Cardinal Hero campaign received more than 100 nominations in the first hour and continued to grow as the campaign continued throughout 2020.

The MHN Excellence Awards are awarded to multifamily housing developers, owners, operators, architecture firms and universities for excellence in multifamily development, marketing, and operations. The Pandemic Hero award was new for the 2021 award season following the 2020 global pandemic.
