Cardinal Group Management Welcomes Three New Directors of Operations for Student Housing
DENVER, CO – May 23, 2023 – Cardinal Group Management is pleased to announce Katy Smerko, and Kevin Sealey have joined Cardinal as Directors of Operations and are each tasked with overseeing portfolios of Student Housing Communities. In addition, Cardinal Group recently promoted Eli Routh to Director of Operations. In their new roles, Smerko, Sealey and Routh will bring their extensive industry experience to oversee a dedicated portfolio of communities and clients. The new directors will ensure we are fulfilling our mission of providing engaging communities for our residents to thrive and delivering an exceptional client experience.
Katy Smerko brings more than a decade of leadership experience in the student housing industry, having most recently served as Senior Vice President of Operations at Campus Advantage. Kevin Sealey, also a veteran in the student housing industry, served as COO and founding partner at Valeo Americas Housing before joining Cardinal and spent most of his career building the operations platform of Campus Crest. Eli Routh started his career on the facilities side at Cardinal before becoming a VP of Operations at Trinitas. Routh oversees Cardinal’s white-label student portfolios and strategic third-party clients in student and Built-to-Rent housing.
