Cardinal Elevates Christina Tarumoto to Executive Vice President of Client Services, Welcomes Katy Moore as Vice President
DENVER, CO – September 8th, 2026 – Cardinal announces the promotion of Christina Tarumoto to Executive Vice President, Client Services, celebrating her 15-year tenure with the company and her pivotal role in building Cardinal into an industry leader. In tandem with this growth, Cardinal welcomes industry veteran Katy Moore to its leadership team as Vice President, Client Services.
Christina’s promotion marks a key milestone in her 15-year career at Cardinal. She originally joined the company as the sole Director on the team before being promoted to Vice President in 2020. Under her direction, Cardinal’s business development strategy has transformed the organization from an entrepreneurial, up-and-coming management company into an NMHC Top 50 operator.
Beyond unit growth, Christina established the core Client Services function to directly support client needs, spearheading the formation of Cardinal’s business development, consulting, and transition teams.

As part of this growth strategy, Cardinal is also excited to announce the addition of Katy Moore as Vice President of Client Services. With more than a decade of experience in the student housing industry, Katy brings extensive expertise in new development, leasing, marketing, and operations to Cardinal’s business development strategy.
Prior to joining Cardinal, Katy served as Director of Leasing at Gilbane Development Company, where she oversaw leasing and marketing strategy across the company’s student housing and multifamily portfolio. Her deep understanding of the development lifecycle, combined with her experience leading large-scale portfolios and third-party management partnerships, will further strengthen Cardinal’s ability to drive value for its clients.
Katy joins the team under Christina’s continued leadership, creating a powerful management dynamic focused on driving value and momentum across Cardinal’s client portfolio.
