Cardinal Group Companies looks to the future of technology with the launch of CX3, Centralized Services
DENVER, CO – February 27, 2023 – Cardinal Group is proud to announce the launch of our industry-leading platform for centralized services, CX3. Led by Cardinal’s Vice President of Centralized Services, Jacob Kosior, the new operating platform will focus on delivering operational efficiencies and an improved customer experience while reducing operating expenses.
CX3 is our commitment to providing a new workflow for our main stakeholders; our team members, customers, and clients. Cardinal’s CX3 platform will offer our team members new remote opportunities while reducing the administrative workload experienced by our onsite teams.
New technologies, including Colleen AI and Elise AI, will support Cardinal’s centralized operations team. These tools integrate with Cardinal’s property management software to communicate with residents regarding rent payments and delinquencies. In addition, Cardinal’s CX3 operational platform is developed to meet the needs of today’s customers through seamless mobile communications and improved self-service opportunities.
Cardinal’s centralized leasing platform has partnered with two industry-leading AI tools focused on the prospect experience to improve traditional lead nurturing efforts. These new services will allow our onsite team members to focus on the in-person aspects of the customer experience while streamlining the leasing process.
“I’ve been excited about the launch of CX3 as it is allowing our on-site team to focus more on the customer rather than focusing on repetitive tasks that we have adopted over the years in our industry,” commented Senior Vice President, Multifamily Housing Operations, Stephanie Nascimento. “We have already seen great results in which CX3 has given back hours to the on-site teams, so they have the ability to level up on their customer service and overall resident reach. This, in return, will result in stronger retention not only for the residents but for our on-site teams as well.”
The centralized operations team launched in January 2023 with two dedicated specialists overseeing rent collection, delinquency, invoice processing, and vendor management across six student housing communities. These Cardinal team members were able to scale collections efforts with the support of an AI tool that handled 96% of resident communications. Through the first month of the program, delinquency in the initial six communities is at or below historical rates.
“The rollout of CX3 has provided immediate value to residents and team members in our communities. These technologies have improved the consistency of our outreach to residents resulting in improved collections and lead follow-up. The AI tools are always on, creating more immediate responses and turnaround time. In addition, our team members onsite can spend more time focused on creating engaging communities where our residents can thrive,” says Jenn Cassidy, SVP of Student Housing Operations for Cardinal Group Companies.
Cardinal’s centralized leasing platform was launched in 11 student and multifamily communities in December 2022. In the first full month of the program, the company’s AI leasing agent saved onsite teams over 400 hours of lead management efforts. The AI tools handled nearly 75% of lead inquiries, including 6,835 prospect communications and the scheduling of 389 tours. These tools were instrumental in helping onsite teams manage the increase in leasing velocity relative to past years while maintaining or exceeding historical conversion rates.
