Mat is responsible for overseeing Facilities and Maintenance Operations for the Cardinal portfolio. He focuses on implementing processes and procedures that enhance our residents' quality of living, and developing platforms crucial to ensuring our communities are properly maintained and running efficiently. Mat is also responsible for the delivery of our extensive maintenance training programs in order to provide our onsite teams with the tools and resources they need to deliver the highest possible quality product and an exceptional level of customer service.
Mat has 8 years of student housing experience with Campus Advantage, American Campus Communities, and College Park Communities prior to his position here at Cardinal. He holds a B.A. in History and Religious Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Business from the University of Queensland Business School in Brisbane, Australia.
